On December 28, 2001, President George W. Bush signed the Defense Authorization Bill, which included a rider directing the Department of Defense to make available to the Air Force Memorial Foundation up to 3 acres (12,000 m2) of the Naval Annex property for use as the location for the memorial. Formal groundbreaking of the site was held in September 2004. Construction of the spires began in February 2006 and was completed in seven months.

I heard a couple hosts of Air America say that they were told that they had to cover the death of Michael Jackson. Strange circumstances seem to be involved with his death. HMMM I wonder? This kind of hype always makes me wonder what the other hand of the magician is doing?
It is so much like the Wizard of Oz. Once you see the Wizard its hard to believe his booming voice. Ya need a heart, courage, a brain, the little dog-intuition-and honesty. A good witch who comes down in a bubble always helps. ( I always was awed by Glenda the good witch. )
