confirmed
my prayers
on my knees
I bow my head and pray for the redemption of both souls
before they self destruct and take us down with them
contorted whirls of tools, abrupt cold protective and secretive
they mold wills through promises and deceit
there is hope
the gun aimed at us seems lowered
there is some warmth in their hearts
