We stand with our hands reaching towards two doorways. We have allowed a parasitical infection to define our world and our future. Why the Civil War MONUMENTS should be preserved because our history includes division and part of this is how the South was cruelly treated after the Civil War. We need to use these monuments to honor our lessons.
